Martin Kahanec and Lucia Kurekova testified as invited experts before the "Advisory Committee on Free Movement of Workers" of the European Commission (Directorate General Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion) on the impact of labor mobility following European Union’s 2004 and 2007 Eastern enlargements on the sending countries. The Advisory Committee comprises representations of Member States' national administrations, trade unions, and corporate bodies such as employers' associations. Its mission is to assist the European Commission in the preparation of legislation or in policy definition. The meeting took place in Brussels on October 30th, 2012.
